They are made from 100% Birch hardwood sawdust compressed into a user-friendly, dense briquette, unlike many others, which are made from softwood. Compact with a hole in the centre for airflow, these Nestro hardwood heat logs are easy to light and long-lasting, and they generate good heat with a very attractive flame. They are a lovely, rich, golden colour with a pleasant aroma.

Nestro heat logs do expand as they burn, so we recommend breaking them into halves or smaller pieces, making them easier to control as they burn.
